CA Students

Professional development of our CA students is often more diverse and fulfilling than at many larger firms, where many students find themselves performing a small range of tasks and not receiving the types of projects that allow them to demonstrate their abilities. At McCarney Greenwood students are encouraged to accept responsible assignments in auditing, accounting and taxation commensurate with their demonstrated abilities. They work on a variety of assignments under the supervision of one of our senior firm members. As they progress, they are given the chance to provide recommendations to clients on a wide variety of issues including tax and general business planning matters.

Chartered Accountants

For chartered accountants, a career choice at MG means an opportunity to work directly with one of our partners and run a diversified client portfolio. McCarney Greenwood chartered accountants are involved with all aspects of client service. We offer responsibility to each member of our team to encourage both personal and professional growth in all areas within the firm. Our chartered accountants are encouraged to participate in client development activities and to work steadily at expanding their client base.

Our chartered accountants are expected to complete annual continuing education requirements in order to encourage personal and professional growth.
